Nancy J. Kraft, age 84, of Powers Lake, WI, died Thursday evening November 17, 2016 at Village Glen Memory Care in Lake Geneva, WI following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Born Nancy Joyce Kindberg on March 27, 1932 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late William and Emily (Zimmerman) Kindberg.  Nancy was united in marriage to Donald H. Kraft on September 15, 1951 in Chicago, IL. Donald preceded her in death on December 1, 2014.  They lived in Schaumburg, IL for many years until retirement and moving to Powers Lake in 1999.

Nancy graduated from the Carl A. Schurz High School in Chicago, IL.  She formerly worked as a sales clerk for Marshall Fields in Schaumburg for many years.  She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Twin Lakes where she volunteered many hours.  She enjoyed many hobbies including knitting and interior decorating.  She loved going to parades and was a member of the Hand in Mouth Club.  She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at their Powers Lake home and boating on the Blu-Cheez.    Nancy's sparkling personality brought fun, energy and pizzazz with her everywhere she went.  She will be greatly missed.

Nancy is survived by:  3 daughters, Donna (Tom) Franklin of Niles, IL, Bev (Dave) Klotz of Powers Lake, WI and Amy (Jim) Cieslak of Twin Lakes, WI; 5 grandchildren, Mindy, Alex, Matthew, Gretta and Olivia; 2 great grandchildren, Danika and Gia; 1 sister, Suzanne (John) Barranco of Atlanta, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by 2 infant sons and 2 sisters, Joan (Herman) Pichler and Barbara (Irving) Westbrook.

Private Family Graveside services will be held at Mound Prairie Cemetery in Twin Lakes, WI.  Memorial remembrances in Nancy's name may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc., 225 N.
