Elkhorn: Nannette J. Christensen; 84, of W. Geneva Street Elkhorn, WI died Friday September 19, 2014 at Ridgestone Terrace of Elkhorn, WI. Nan was born August 28, 1930 in Woodstock, IL the daughter of the late Arnold and Dorothy (Belton) Larsen. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Christensen on October 23, 1949 in Elkhorn, WI. Robert died July 29, 2012. Nan worked as a legal secretary for several different law firms in the Elkhorn and Milwaukee area for over 60 years retiring in 2010. She was member of the Elkhorn Women's Club, the First Congregational-United Church of Christ of Elkhorn. She enjoyed playing Bridge. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed. Nan is survived by her three children; Roberta "Bobbi" Christensen of Madison, WI, Scott (Patti) Christensen and Joel (Lisa) Christensen all of Elkhorn, WI, eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, two sisters Dorothy Allen of Kansas City, MO and Lee Barber of East Troy, WI, two brothers; Roger (Katie) Larsen of Elkhorn, WI and Walter "Wally" (Pat) Larsen of Delavan, WI and by a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert, two sisters; Coris Ebert and Alice Heller, one brother George Larsen. Funeral service will be 10:30 am Wednesday September 24, 2014 at the First Congregational-United Church of Christ 76 south Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Dr. Scott McLeod officiating. Burial will be at Hazel Ridge Cemetery Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N.
