Norma G. Strom: 96, of Elkhorn, WI passed away Saturday May 20, 2017 at Holton Manor Nursing Home Elkhorn, WI.  She was born November 18, 1920 in Winnebago, County, Il.  She was the daughter of the late Narve and Martha Olafsen.  On May 16, 1942 she was united in marriage to Raymond A. Strom in Elkhorn, WI.  He died October 19, 1999.  Norma was employed with the Department of Health and Social Services of Walworth County-Division of Corrections for over 24 years, 1954 until her retirement in 1978.  At that time she moved to Hayward, WI until 1996 when she moved back to Elkhorn, WI.  She was a member of the Moose Lodge of Hayward.  Before leaving Elkhorn she spent many volunteer hours providing entertainment at Holton Manor and during retirement at senior citizen centers in northern WI with her accordion.  Norma is survived by her daughter Jane (David) Christiansen of Elkhorn, WI.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Raymond, three sisters; Emma Winnie, Gladys Jansen and Mary Paddock.  Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday May 23, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Tom DeGroot officiating.  Burial will be at Mt.
