Norman J. E. Lester, 81 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Holton Manor. He was born on January 20, 1942 in Dunklin County, Missouri and is the son of the late Charlie and Mattie Dee (Greer) Lester. Norman served in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Patricia M. Drzadinski on October 24, 1970 in Milwaukee, WI. Norman was an over the road truck driver for over 50 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and was an excellent pool player. He also enjoyed working on and building race cars with his family and watching the races at the old Lake Geneva Raceway. One of his greatest passions was racing go-carts and 4-wheelers with his wife, daughter, and grandsons out in the back field at his home in Spring Prairie, WI. Spending time with his family and friends brought him great happiness.

Norman is survived by his wife: Patricia, daughter: Julianne (Nicole Baier) Lester, two stepchildren: Lorianne (James) Clark, and Vincent (Cheryl) Endrizzi and, two grandsons: Patrick Clark and Benjamin Forsythe and two great-granddaughters: Lillian and Vivienne. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings: Lola Mae (Toots), L.C., Alvie (Al), Melvin (Fat), Ardell (Pete), Waiver, Kenneth and Juli, and his dear grandson, Cody Clark.

A Celebration of Norman's life will be from 1:00 to 4:00PM on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Horticultural Hall, 330 Broad St. Lake Geneva, WI.. Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.

Parking: Parking is available free on all side streets. Parking lot at BMO Harris bank (next to Hall across street) is also available free of charge. Please DO NOT block ATM lane in back of bank. Everything else in bank lot is fair game. There is also free parking just down a block at the school. Please Note: parking in front of Hall is metered. Lake Geneva is patrolled diligently by 'meter officers'. If you park in a metered area please go to closest kiosk and put in your license plate #, anticipated amount of time and payment. A receipt will print out. Place on dashboard to avoid a ticket.

Misc: Wi-fi will be available in main hall. Smoking is only permitted in designated area in front of hall.
