Norman J. Lembach, 91, of Elkhorn, WI passed from this life on June 20, 2024, at Frontida Assisted Living in Elkhorn.

Norm was born on June 19, 1933, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Joseph and Marie Lembach. Norman was united in marriage to the love of his life, Evelyn Rychlowski on June 9, 1956. Norm proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Norm worked for the Motor Vehicle Department for 26 years and after retirement, worked at Old World Wisconsin for 22 years as a tram driver, interpreter, and volunteer. He enjoyed traveling by train or by bus on various adventures with Evelyn.

Norm will be remembered as a charming raconteur with the ability to tell detailed stories about his childhood paper routes in Milwaukee, anecdotes of getting extra meals while serving in Kwajalein, and most importantly, shared how in love he was and remained with Evelyn.

Norman is survived by his wife, Evelyn; 3 children, James (Alice) of Elkhorn, Keith (Maria), of Colorado Springs, Co, and Laura Huebner, of Somerset, KY. Norm leaves behind countless grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Marlene Esser of New Berlin, WI, nephews, nieces and friends.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, brothers in law Harry, Henry, and Howard Esser as well as his son in law, Dale Huebner.

Visitation will be 12:00PM until service time at 2:00PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Homes, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.  Entombment will be 11:00AM on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at St. Adalbert's Catholic Cemetery, 3801 South 6th St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53221.
