Orville "Big Orv" E. Cornelison, 91, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Ridgestone Gardens.  He was born on January 21, 1934, in Darien, WI, the son of the late Noah and Martha (Kargel) Cornelison. Orville was united in marriage to Sheron D. Fonda in Crown Point, IN on February 7, 1957.  Sheron preceded in death on December 27, 2009. Orville shared a love of NASCAR, especially his favorite driver Chase Elliot.  He loved hunting, fishing, and camping.  Orville truly enjoyed listening to Polka music. He was always working on old cars and participating in demolition derbies.  Orville was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

Orville is survived by his six children: William "Bill" (Judy Dixon) Cornelison, Gerald "Jerry" Cornelison, Robert "Bob" Cornelison, Susan "Sue" Cornelison, Caroline (Todd Cauffman) Cornelison, and Kathleen "Kathy"  (Gary) Schoendorf; five grandchildren: Tanya (Jason), Mason, Kaitlin (Tim), Quentin (Sonja) and Lillie (Dalton); eight great-grandchildren: Ryan, Jayden, Caydence, Jace, Everly, Pheonix, Arthur, and Warren. Orville was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Sheron, his parents, and four siblings: Russell Cornelison, Irene Feltham, Norman "Bud" Cornelison, and Dorothy Mitchell.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church, N5690 Cobblestone Rd., Elkhorn, WI, with Pastor Dick Inglett officiating. A Visitation will be at 9:30AM until service time on Monday at the church.  Interment will follow services at Roselawn Memory Gardens in the Town of Delavan, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Orville's name to Walworth County 4-H or Elkhorn Veterans of Foreign Wars. Online guest book available at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
