Osvelia "Velia" M. Serrato, age 88, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was born in Texas on October 5, 1935, the daughter of the late Juan and Evangelina (Flores) Narvaiz. She married the love of her life, Virgil in Elgin, Illinois on March 13, 1965. Osvelia was known to be very loving and caring. She loved to dance, play bingo, play cards, watch movies, and going on car rides with her husband. She was known to be a very strong person who was very hardworking and had a great laugh and sense of humor. She also enjoyed spending time cooking for her family. Above all, her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her four children; John (Jennifer), Virgil Jr., Lisa, and Lori (Richard), 2 brothers; Jose and Ramiro Narvaiz, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Juan and Evangelina Narvaiz, sister; Elva Salazar, brothers; Juan and Jesse Narvaiz, grandchild; Shannen and great-great grandchild; Harlow.

A visitation will take place on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the funeral home, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI, 53121 from 10:00AM-11:00AM, until the time of service.
