Pamela Joyce Cook, a peaceful, kind servant of our Lord Jesus, member of Anchor and Westosha Baptist Churches, went to Heaven on May 24, 2025. Born November 23, 1950, to the late James H. and Sybil E. (McElroy) Summers in Hartselle, Alabama. Pamela was led to the Lord through her mother, Sybil Summers, and she maintained her walk with Christ throughout her life. Above all else, her primary focus in life was on Christ. In her free time, Pamela enjoyed puzzles, Pogo.com computer games, and was an avid Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan. She also loved her feline companions, Mufasa and Sarabi.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Verlon Cook; sisters, Debbie Summers and Carol Erickson; brother, Roger Summers; daughters, Josephine (Mike) Pasley and Ashley Cook; grandkids, Morgan and Nathaniel; brother-in-law, James (Susan) Cook; sister-in-law, Mary Undieme; and many nieces and nephews.
In death, she is reunited with her parents, James and Sybil Summers; infant son, Verlon E. Cook III; brother, Larry Summers; grandparents, Robert and Ellen (Moss) McElroy; uncle and aunt Leon and Sidney McElroy; aunt Melba (McElroy) Lucas; sister-in-law, Nancy Lee Summers; and brother-in-law, James Undieme.
A visitation and funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 620 Legion Dr., Twin Lakes, WI, 53181. Visitation from 12:00PM until the service at 2:00PM. Following the service, visitation will continue until 4:00PM. Interment will take place on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 1:00PM at Montrose Cemetery, 5400 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60630, Oakhill section, lot 827, grave 5.
