Patricia E. Nelson, age 73, of Genoa City, WI, died Tuesday February 2, 2016 at the Aurora Summit Medical Center in Summit, WI.

The former Patricia Ellen Green was born on November 12, 1942 in Ft. Snelling, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Roy and Margaret Butler Green.  On November 26, 1996 in Pell Lake, WI, Patricia was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Nelson.  She grew up in DeSoto, Kansas and then moved to Pell Lake and finally Genoa City 6 years ago.   Patricia had an Associates Degree in Child Care.

Patricia worked in child care for Headstart of Jefferson and Walworth Counties and then for the Sommerschool Day Care in Genoa City.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pell Lake where she taught Sunday School.  Throughout the years, she was very involved in the churches that she belonged to.   She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and sewing.

Patricia is survived by:  Her husband-Kenneth; 3 sons-Bruce (Kay) Reynolds of Elkhorn, WI, Brian (Melissa Schneiter) Reynolds of Portage, WI and Vincent Reynolds of East Berlin, PA; 2 stepchildren-Anthony Nelson of Elkhorn, WI and Melissa (Rob) Kuntz of Baraboo, WI; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 siblings-Kathleen Reed of Missouri, Sheila (Jim) Barb of Missouri and Roland (Charlene) Green of Arizona.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers-Chester and David.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday February 9, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, W775 Geranium Road, Pell Lake, WI.  The Nelson Family will receive friends from 4:00PM until &:00PM Monday at the Haase-Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home, 113 Freeman St. Genoa City, WI and after 10:00AM Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Memorial Remembrances may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
