Patricia Rose Kautz of Wheatland, WI died September 2, 2025, at the age of 80.  She was born in Racine, WI on September 10, 1944.  The daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Neuman) Welch Sr.  On September 22, 1962, at St. John Lutheran Church in Slades Corners, WI she was united in marriage to Alan C. Kautz who preceded her in death on February 21, 2021.

Pat loved being outside.  On their hobby farm, Pat and Alan raised chickens, ducks, sheep and llamas.  She enjoyed working with the local 4-H and mentored students.   Pat worked at Wheatland Center for many years as a school bus driver.  Patricia also liked to go fishing, especially at Rice Lake, WI.

Survived by her daughter Connie (Jim) Stewart.  Grandmother to Natalie Kautz and Sean Stewart (Parima Muneekul).  She was preceded in death by her son Robert (Laura Wierzbicki) Kautz, brother Earl Welch Jr, brother-in-law Harold Kautz, sister-in-laws Linda Kautz and Marjorie Oxtoby.

Private family services will be held.  Donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Slades Corners, WI. The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Kautz family.
