Patty L. Harris, age 69, of Twin Lakes, WI, died Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center Burlington, after bravely battling cancer for a year and a half. Daughter of the late Floyd and Julia (Johnson) Baisden, Patty was born in Williamson, WV on November 29, 1951. Her family moved to Chicago, IL when she was a child, and she resided in the Chicagoland area for many years. On May 26, 1994, Patty was united in marriage with Douglas Harris in Waukegan, IL. Nurturing and gifted at caring for others, Patty worked as a nurse in home healthcare.  She was a hardworking people-person, loved by all who knew her, and was "Mom" to many. Patty's greatest love in life was family, and she especially loved being Nana to 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Patty loved holidays, and Christmas was her favorite—she would have had a Christmas tree in every room if she could. Patty's funny, quick-witted, firecracker personality will be remembered and missed by all whose lives she touched.

Patty is survived by her loving husband, Douglas; her children Bernard (Michelle) Loonsfoot Jr. of Spring Grove, IL, Tamara Umphryes of Salem, WI, Brandon (Tammi) Loonsfoot of Douglasville, GA, Saraya (Josh) Wallace of Milwaukee, WI, Douglas D. (Hyacinth) Harris of Grayslake, IL, and Jawana (James) Washington of Washington, CA; her grandchildren, Tanaya Williams, Alyssa, Danielle, and Aiyana Loonsfoot, Nykia and Lexie Umphryes, Jacinth and Janaya Harris, Bryton Loonsfoot, and Jada and Jordan Washington; and her great-grandchildren, Avion, Dahvion, Ricarrion, Aaro, and Zhanea. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Julia Baisden; and her brothers, Larry Baisden and Jerry Baisden

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is assisting the family.
