Elkhorn: Pearl L. Bruell, 96; formerly of Elkhorn, WI died Sunday August 24, 2014 at Williams Bay Care Center Williams Bay, WI. She was born September 17, 1917 in Sharon, WI the daughter of the late Harry and Amy (Pearson) Hughes. She married Henry J. Bruell in 1935, he died in 1996. Pearl was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of the former LaFayette Church. Pearl is survived by her daughter Sylvia Chapman of Elkhorn, four grandchildren; Brett Chapman of Muskego, WI, Brian (Teresa) Chapman of Brodhead, WI, Brook (Karyn) Chapman and Brad Chapman both of Elkhorn, WI, four great-grandchildren; Jennifer (Edward) Chapman-Lumby of Fort Atkinson, WI, Racheal, Justin and Alex Chapman all of Elkhorn, WI and one great-great-grandson; Matthew Conrad of Elkhorn, WI. Funeral service will be 6:00 PM Thursday August 28 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI with Pastor David Meyers officiating. Burial will be at LaFayette - White Oak Cemetery Town of LaFayette, WI. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
