Peter Jack Ven Housen; 61, of Plantation Road Elkhorn, WI died peacefully Wednesday April 6, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born July 25, 1954 in Oak Park, IL the son of Peter Simon and Mariella (Essenburg) Ven Housen. He was united in marriage to Kimberlee Ann Miller on April 2, 1976 in Lombard, IL. Throughout his career he has owned and operated Ven Housen Disposal, Superior Services, Culver's Restaurants in Elkhorn, Lake Geneva and Delavan, ABC Disposal of Naples, FL, Quickscapes of Elkhorn, Venture Investments and was co-founder of Peoples Bank of Elkhorn, WI.  Peter was a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Elkhorn and Lake Geneva, former Supervisor for the Town of LaGrange, he enjoyed classic cars, fishing and golfing.  Peter was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his wife of 40 years, Kim, three children; Michelle (Paul) Manriquez of Waunakee, WI, Peter John (Tiffany) Ven Housen of Estero, FL and Rachel (Scott) Jackson of Fort Myers, FL, his parents: Peter Simon and Mariella Ven Housen of Elkhorn, WI, six grandchildren; Taiten, Alyssah Manriquez, Brecker, Amelia Ven Housen, Chancellor and Maddox Jackson, one sister; Mary Beth (David) Vander Velde of Oregon, WI, two brothers; Bill Lee (Debra) Ven Housen of Elkhorn, WI and John Edward (Kelly) Ven Housen of Venice, FL, many nieces and nephews and by a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandson; Luke Ven Housen. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Tuesday April 12, 2016 followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI with Rev.
