Pastor Philip K. Robinson age 69 of Genoa City, WI died Tuesday Nov. 4, 2014 at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.
Philip Keith Robinson was born on August 31, 1945 in Elkhorn, WI the son of the ;late Arthur and Dorothy McDonald Robinson. On August 17, 1974 at Walworth Bible Church in Walworth, WI, Philip was united in marriage to Delores A. "Lorrie" Kroencke. Philip has been a resident of Bloomfield Township his entire life.
Philip served in the U.S. Navy from January 24, 1967 until discharge on October 11, 1968. He served in Viet Nam and received the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.
He formerly worked for Morton Chemical Co. in Ringwood, IL and drove bus for the Richmond-Burton School District in Richmond, IL for 19 years. He studied for the Ministry at Moody Bible Institute. Philip began his ministry in 1984 and served the Grace Community Church in Lake Villa, IL, the Falls Bible Church in Menomonee Falls, WI and Grace Bible Fellowship in Menomonee Falls, WI.
He was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. He coached little league in Genoa City and played basketball in a men's league in Genoa City.
Philip is survived by: His Wife-Lorrie; 1 sister-Gail (Donald) Holden of Genoa City, WI; 1 niece-Kathy Bailey; 1 nephew-Jeff; 1 great nephew Cory Holden; a great niece-Milissa Bailey.
He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Robinson and 1 nephew-Mark Holden.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM Saturday Nov. 8, 2014 at the Berean Grace Church N665 Hy B Genoa City, WI. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2:00PM until the time of services at the Church.
