Philip "Vogie" L. Vogel, 82 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at his home. He was born October 10, 1941, in Elkhorn, WI, the son of the late George and Margaret (Brown) Vogel. Philip was united in marriage to Marilu Horsthemke on October 5, 1968, in Elkhorn, WI. Marilu preceded him in death on May 9, 2006. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Elkhorn Fire Department for over 40 years. Philip served in the United States Air Force.

Philip enjoyed golfing and bowling throughout his life. Philip is survived by his two daughters, Tricia Vogel and Rena (Eric Overton) Vogel, three grandchildren, Christopher (Morgan Benedict) Long, Samantha Fields, and Kenneth Bleecker III, one great-grandson, Christopher Long Jr, and his brother, Charles (Penny) Vogel. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Marilu Vogel.
