Phillip G. Ellefson, 79 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Holton Manor. He was born June 29, 1943 in Madison, WI, the son of the late Glen Ellefson and Mary Lucille (Quinn) Ellefson. Phillip was a veteran who served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Phillip had his commercial pilot's licenses and loved to be in the sky flying. He was loving and devoted father and grandfather. Phillip absolutely adored his grandchildren. Phillip is survived by his five children; Patrick Ellefson of Mesquite, NV, James Ellefson of Platteville, WI, Peggy Ellefson of Mukwonago, WI, Christine (Robert) Grimes of Elkhorn, WI and Renee (Scott) Chambers of Elkhorn, WI, seven grandchildren: Toni Lynne, Kailey, Megan, Lauren, Elizabeth, Nick and Grace, nine siblings: Jeanne Meier, Larry (Janice) Ellefson, Diana (Robert) Pattinson, Cynthia (Glen) Kinderman, Bernard (Jane) Ellefson, Pamela (Ann Brummit) Ellefson, Tommy (Betsy) Ellefson, Shelia (Jorge Fuentes) Ellefson and Imelda Majeski, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Patrick Weigel and brother-in-law, Don Majeski. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, W. Court St. Elkhorn, WI.
