Phyllis Elaine Pellmann

Phyllis E. Pellmann age 98 of Elkhorn, WI died on Tuesday April 7, 2026 at Lakeland Medical Center of Elkhorn, WI. Phyllis was born on August 30, 1927; daughter of the late Bernard and Edith (Feldkamp) Nienhaus. Phyllis is a 1945 graduate of St. Mary’s Highschool in Burlington, WI. From there she went on to be a beautician and hairdresser for many years. On September 10, 1949; she married Harley Pellmann in Burlington, WI. They raised their family together and created a lifetime of memories until the time of his passing in 2012. Phyllis worked alongside her husband on the farm; milking cows, bailing hay, and everything in-between. Later on, after she left work as a hairdresser; she went to school of get her CNA certificate, and later on worked in the local hospital in Central Services. Over the years, Phyllis belonged to a number of organizations including The Home Makers Club, Southern Lakes Riders, The Walworth County Farm Bureau, and served as treasurer and secretary for the Walworth County Boots & Saddle Club. She also spent many years volunteering at the Walworth County Fair.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother; Eugene (Betty) Nienhaus; brother-in-law; Ralph Heck; and sister-in-law; Ann Nienhaus. She is survived by her siblings; Ruth Heck, Richard (Dianna) Nienhaus, Robert Nienhaus; three children; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held for Phyllis at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI on Monday April 13, 2026, from 5:00pm until 6:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday April 14, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 108 McHenry Street Burlington, WI at 11:00AM. Phyllis will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery of Burlington following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Aurora Lakeland Medical Center- ICU Department W3985 County Road NN Elkhorn, WI 53121.
