Raymond R. Gehrke Sr., age 89 formerly of Palmyra, WI, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veteran's Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born October 20, 1925 in Chicago, IL. Raymond was united in marriage to Betty on July 23, 1943. Betty preceded him in death on January 22, 1996. Raymond and Betty lived on Blue Spring Lake for over 22 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII.

Raymond is survived by his four sons; Raymond (Beth) Jr. of Genoa City, WI, Rick (Katherine) of Lake Villa, IL, Rob of Prairie View, IL, and Randy of Fort Atkinson, WI, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law, Robert Lube, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, June Lube, brother and sister-in-law, Norman (Edith) Gehrke, and one daughter-in-law, Lisa.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory 320 W. Main St. Palmyra, WI, with Pastor Steven M.D. Blyth officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM to 12:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
