Raymond Jan Rapacz, age 79 of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, passed away July 4, 2025.  Born in Hammond, Indiana, he was the eldest of the two sons of the late Walter and Irene Rapacz.  Dr. Rapacz practiced cardiology for over 50 years, retiring in 2010.  He practiced at Hinsdale Hospital and LaGrange Hospitals.  At Hinsdale Hospital he was the Director of Cardiology as well as the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

Dr Rapacz was a professor of Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center.  He was a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Cardiology.

Survived by his wife Lynda.  Father to Daniel (Tricia), Glenn (Jennifer), Robert (Meghan) and Emily (Jeff).   Grandfather (Poppy) to Connell, Quinn, Peyton, Maddox and Glenn Jacob.  Uncle to Amy (Tony), Ilsa (Jon), Mason (Kerry).  Brother to Wally (Shelley).

A Time of Sharing will be held on Thursday July 17, 2025, at 3:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr.  Twin Lakes, WI.   The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until the time of services.   Memorials in Raymond's name may be made to the Twin Lakes Rescue Squad 236 E Main St.  Twin Lakes, WI.
