IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Regina Lynn
(Buelow) Nichols
May 29, 1982 – October 6, 2023
Regina Lynn Nichols, a radiant soul who graced our lives with warmth and love, left this world on Friday, October 6, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, perseverance, and self-improvement. Daughter of Michael and Elizabeth (Winters) Buelow, Gina was born on May 29, 1982, at the Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois. She was united in marriage with the love of her life, Gregory R. Nichols, on June 16, 2006.
Eager to learn all she could and for the opportunity to help others, Gina earned an associate's degree in early childhood education. Over the course of her life, she worked many jobs in various fields, making friends everywhere she went. She had an entrepreneurial spirit and worked fervently as a rep for Tupperware and Scentsy, where she was the top salesperson for 3 years in a row. Always striving for self-improvement and development, Gina recently returned to school to pursue a degree in business management.
Gina was not just a force in the professional sphere; she was the heart of her family. A devoted mother, her love for her children knew no bounds. She instilled in them the values of compassion, resilience, and the importance of embracing one's uniqueness. Gina's favorite color was blue, which can symbolize the depth of her kindness and the vastness of her love. She extended this love not only to her children, but to her entire family and her numerous friends.
Autism awareness held a special place in Gina's heart. She worked to promote understanding and acceptance, breaking down barriers and fostering a more inclusive society.
Gina found humor in the little things, and her laughter was a source of joy for those around her. She embraced life with open arms, fearlessly jumping into new experiences with both feet. She loved Dungeons and Dragons and was a cherished member of the gaming community. Gina was also a Harry Potter fanaticwith an impressive collection of memorabilia. Her passion for these worlds of fantasy was infectious, and she shared the magic with her own children by reading Harry Potter as bedtime stories to them, instilling a love for imagination and storytelling.
Gina's ability to connect with everyone she encountered was truly remarkable. Her genuine interest in others created a welcoming space for friendships to flourish. Whether in the professional arena, the gaming community, or everyday life, Gina left an imprint on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Greg Nichols; children, Gabriel, 17; Sean, 14; and Aurora, 7; mother, Elizabeth Buelow; brother, Earl Buelow; sister-in-law, Heather (Cole) Mussared; mother-in-law, Melody Nichols (nee Wiltse); as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.
