Obituary

Elkhorn: Richard A. Mann: 75, of Potter Road Elkhorn, WI died peacefully Sunday May 18, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 2, 1938 in Elkhorn, WI. He was the son of Lawrence "Babe" A. and Jesse F. (Avery) Mann. Dick graduated from Elkhorn High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was united in marriage to the former Judith M. Braun on April 24, 1965 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Elkhorn, WI. Dick was President of Mann Brothers of Elkhorn until he retired in 2000. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, former member of the Elkhorn Lion's Club, member and past president of the Wisconsin Road Builders Association. Dick was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and had the privilege of many great fishing and hunting trips. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be deeply missed by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy. Four children; David (Dona) Mann, Diane (Tom) Burrows, Robert (Amy Anzalone) Mann and Debbie (Sean) Timmer. His mother Jesse Mann, fourteen grandchildren; Afton (Cam) Isler, Dexter (Kristen),Karlee, Braden and Louis Mann, Anthony (Emily) and Darin Anzalone, Chloe, Tony and Ben Burrows, Gage, Gabi, Gunner and Sophia Timmer. One great-grandson; Luke Isler. Three sisters; Barbara (Gerald) Nettesheim, Mary Ellsworth and Patti Schulz and one Aunt Peg (Bill) Ludenbeck all of Elkhorn, WI. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday May 23, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 107 W. Walworth Street Elkhorn, WI with Father Oriol Regales officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be Thursday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.
