Rickey R Nix age 76 of Salem, WI died June 25, 2023.  He was born in Groesbeck, Texas on January 5, 1947.  The son of the late Billy and Tommye (Richter) Nix.  On December 29, 1995, he was united in marriage to Arlene Buffa.   He served in the United States Army and worked as a Plumber at Great Lakes Naval Base.

During his life he enjoyed buying and fixing boats, going fishing and camping.  He had quite the green thumb and grew roses.   Most recently he liked bidding on storage sheds.

Survived by his wife Arlene.   Father to Julie Stolp, Tammy Nix and Tina Nix.  Stepfather to the late Vito Buffa and the late Michael Buffa.  Brother to Mike Snyder and Robin Nix.  Grandfather to Casey, Sean and Jake Stolp, Hannah Tormey, Anthony, Carrie, Brandon Buffa, and Kayla Foote.  Great Grandfather to Phoenix Foote, Cooper Maxwell, and Nico Buffa.

A Celebration of Life will take place on July 22, 2023, at Westosha Lakes Church 24823 74th St. Salem, WI.  The Celebration will be held from 1:00PM until 4:00PM with a service and military honors being held at 2:00PM.   The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Nix family.
