IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Riley T.
Oman
February 11, 1982 – June 28, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we share the passing of Riley Thomas Oman, 43 of Williams Bay, WI. Riley was born on February 11, 1982, in Milwaukee, WI, the beloved son of Thomas Oman and Kelli (Plattner) Garecht. Riley went to Heaven far too soon, on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Riley's life was a beautiful story—one filled deep love, loyalty, humor, and an endless devotion to the people he loved most. Above all else, Riley was a loving and proud father. His world revolved around his three children. He was their protector, and constant source of strength. Riley poured his heart into fatherhood. Every choice, every moment of joy or struggle-he carried their names in his heart through it all. His bond with each of his children was unique and unbreakable—he was their safe place, their hero, and their greatest supporter.
Riley had a passion for golfing, and spent many memorable Mondays on local courses. Riley was a lover of trying new restaurants and cooking for his family. He loved being outdoors, and traveling. Hawaii and Colorado held a special place in his heart. Riley was a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan. And also loved cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks.
Riley had a rare light in him. He was fiercely loyal, wildly funny, and endlessly thoughtful. To know him was to feel seen and loved in a way that was uniquely his. His bright smile wasn't just something you noticed—it was something you felt. It was a reflection of his heart, his humor, and the deep love he had for those around him.
Riley leaves behind a family and community who will carry his memory forward in all they do.
Riley is survived by his parents Kelli (Keith) Garecht, his three children: Jorgia Oman, Eric, and Jersee, his grandparents, Stanley Plattner and Elaine Garecht, mother of his children Tabraea Ciancio, many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members & countless friends who will never forget his heart, his laugh, and the way he made this world better just by being in it.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Oman, and his grandparents, Shirley Williams and Robert Garecht.
Riley's story may have ended too soon, but his legacy will live on through the hearts of his children—through every laugh, every lesson, and every ounce of love he gave so freely
