Rita L. Mooney 65 of Elkhorn, WI died at Mercy Walworth Hospital of Lake Geneva on Monday May 9, 2016.  Rita was born on May 26, 1950; daughter of the late LaVerne and Loretta Baumeister.  Rita was a very giving and compassionate person; she enjoyed decorating and handy work, and she enjoyed working on puzzles; but most importantly she enjoyed time with her friends and family.  Rita is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings; William, Lester, Timothy, Ruth, Shirley, Judith, and Suzanne.  Rita is survived by her children; Carrie Mooney of Jefferson, WI, and Mike (Shannon) Mooney of Oconomowoc, WI; grandchildren; Hayley, Broderic, Brawnson, Morgan, and Matthew; and siblings; John, Ken (Dee), Lucille (Stan), Vernetta, Elaine, and Darlene.  A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church of Lake Geneva, WI on Friday May 13, 2016 at 11:00AM.  Visitation will be held before Mass from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at Church.  Rita will be laid to rest at St. Killian's Catholic Cemetery of Lake Geneva following the Mass.  In lieu of Flowers Memorials may be made out to the Mooney Family.
