Robert "Bob" C. Erickson age 72 of Elkhorn, WI died peacefully with his family by his side at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center of Elkhorn on Monday May 13, 2024.  Bob was born in Chicago, IL, son of the late Walter and Ruth (Engstrom) Erickson.  Bob married Darlene J. Annala on October 13, 1973 in Westboro, WI.  Together they raised their family, eventually residing in Elkhorn, WI.  Bob was an enthusiast in sailing, motor cycle riding, and reading whenever he could.  He enjoyed target shooting, and loved road trips; he was known to take a ride to Chicago just to get a good hotdog.  Above all, family was his life; he wanted to give the family he created all of his love, and he did so with grace.  Bob is preceded in death by his parents; and his son Robert C. Erickson II.  He is survived by his wife; Darlene; daughters; Megan Erickson, Alyssa Erickson; and grandchildren; Taylor, Kaylee, Kayden, and Aliya.  A Funeral Service will be held for Bob at First Evangelical Lutheran Church 415 Devendorf Street Elkhorn, WI at 1:30PM on Monday May 20, 2024.  Visitation will take place before the funeral beginning at 11:30AM.  Bob will be laid to rest at Hazel Ridge Cemetery following his funeral service.  Bob's arrangements are under the direction of Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Elkhorn.  An online guestbook can be found at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
