Robert L. Davis, age 80, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, surrounded by family. Son of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Gorselitz) Davis, Bob was born on August 19, 1944, in Neillsville, WI. After graduating from Neillsville High School, Bob enlisted in the United States Army as part of the Corps of Engineers, serving in Vietnam and Thailand. On July 26, 1968, he was united in marriage with Rita Martin, and the couple would go on to raise three children in Lake Geneva, WI. Bob worked at Woodstock Die Cast for almost 20 years, before opening his own business, Lyons Auto and Speed Center. He enjoyed working on cars and did so professionally in the Army and then as a mechanic in his own shop. In his free time, Bob enjoyed deer hunting and watching the Packers, Badgers, and NASCAR.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Rita Davis; son, Darryl Davis of Madison, WI; daughters, Ranay (Scott) Gross of Hartland, WI, and Rebecca (Kevin) Lynch of Aurora, IL; grandsons, Tyler and Jarrett Gross and Brendan and Colin Lynch; granddaughter, Piper Lynch; sister, Louise Strangfeld of Neillsville; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Dorothy Davis; brothers, Clarence, Kenneth, Allen, and Richard Davis; sisters, Diane Davis, Janice Davis, and Mary Strangfeld, as well as several in-laws.

A memorial service with military honors will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 2:00PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, WI 53121.
