Robert J. Hess, age 78, of the Village of Bloomfield (Pell Lake), died Monday morning October 24,, 2016 at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.

Robert James Hess was born on August 7, 1938 in Kenosha, WI the son of the late Emil and Mary Hess.  On September 30, 1983 in Montello, WI, Robert was united in marriage to Lynette J. Oslund.  They lived in Trevor, WI and Twin Lakes, WI before moving to Pell Lake 16 years ago.

Robert was a self-employed general contractor.  He also worked in maintenance for the Town of Randall, WI and also for Walmart.  He enjoyed working with his hands.  He also enjoyed going to garage sales looking for treasures, deer hunting, fishing and watching football and NASCAR.

Robert is survived by: his wife Lynette; 8 children-Bernard Klein of Gaastra, MI, Lorna Klein of Lake Geneva, WI, Linda Berger of Twin Lakes, WI, Leslee (Tim) Maiter of Burlington, WI, Scott Hess of Burlington, wI, Alexis Sweet of Arizona, Michael Hess of Pell Lake, WI and Candi Hess of Pell Lake, WI; 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 brothers-Emil Hess of Racine, WI and Charles Hess of Minnesota.
