Elkhorn: Ronald H. Kirmsse; 76 of Elkhorn, WI died unexpectedly Thursday October 30, 2014 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center Elkhorn, WI. He was born January 4, 1938 in Milwaukee, WI the son of the late Harvey and Dorothy (Rishel) Kirmsse. He was united in marriage to the former Patricia M. O'Keefe on October 5, 1968 in Waukegan, IL. Ronald worked for over 20 years with Union Carbide of Milwaukee, WI; he retired in 1999 after 10 years with Trostels Company of Lake Geneva, WI. Ronald was a member of Sugar Creek Lutheran Church of Elkhorn, WI. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially if it involved hunting, fishing or camping. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survived by his wife of 46 years Pat, Four children; Ronald (Theresa Kaphing) Kirmsse of Tuscon, AZ, Jacqueline (Bob) Bird, David (Rose) Kirmsse both of Bear Creek, WI and Jennifer (Chris) Bannigan of Delavan, WI. Eleven grandchildren: Aimee Wilson, Robert and Steven Bird, Nicole (Ryan) Erickson, Joshua, Kyler, Benjamin and Matthew Kirmsse, Kaylin and Avelina Bannigan and Logan Iseini. Three great-grandchildren: Ashlea, Kylie and Rylan, and by a host of nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two grandbabies and one brother Richard Kirmsse. Memorial service will be 11:00 am Wednesday November 5, 2014 at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church N5690 Cobblestone Road Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Richard Inglett officiating.
