Ronald H. Rederer, age 82, of Richmond, IL, died on Tuesday August 23, 2022 at the Northwestern Medicine-Woodstock Hospital in Woodstock, IL.

Ronald Henry Rederer was born on March 20, 1940 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Henry Peter and Claretta Francis Spencer Rederer.  On October 2, 1979 in Chicago, IL, Ronald was united in marriage to Therese "Treech" Zelkovich.

Ronald worked as an iron worker/structural steel for the Iron Worker's Union, Local # 1 in Chicago for 36 years.  He enjoyed collecting miniature cars and was an avid BEARS fan.

Ronald is survived by:  His wife, Therese "Treech", 3 children, Mike (Jennifer) Rederer of Bristol, WI, Jean Axen of Spring Grove, IL and Kim (Kevin) Loechler; 4 grandchildren, Randi (Matt) Sheehan, Renee Rederer, Heather (Darrian) Marshall and Alex Loechler; 2 great grandchildren, Brooke and Emma Marshall; 1 sister Dianne Borrini.

There will be a Celebration of Ron's Life open house on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 11:00AM until 4:00PM at the Rederer Home 2311 State Line Road, Richmond, IL  The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes is assisting the Rederer Family.
