Ronald "Woodstock" W. Fraser, 70 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away surrounded by family with the tunes rockin' on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Mercy Janesville Hospital. He was born January 31, 1954, in Elkhorn, WI, the son of the late Kenneth and Nancy (Jacobsen) Fraser.  Ron graduated from Elkhorn Area High School with the Class of 1972.  Ron married his high school sweetie Karin Heins on May 1, 1976, in Elkhorn, WI. He trudged through 30 years at General Motors in Janesville, WI; happily retired in 2006.  Ron loved to go camping, hunting, fishing and to travel.  He enjoyed running, kayaking, archery, and scuba diving.  Ron served his community by being an EMT. He was often mistaken for Santa Claus, Jerry Garcia, and Charlie Daniels.  He loved his four dogs dearly and his two grand pups.  During his retirement, his passion for the stock market, political-tainment, and online battles of wits.  Karin and Ron enjoyed playing Yahtzee together, cribbage with friends, and their trips to casinos. Ron was a gruff looking man with a heart of gold. He had a "strange" to some and "warped" to others sense of humor. Ron will be gone, but not forgotten.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Karin, their two children: Travis (Margaret) Fraser and Emily Fraser, three grandchildren: Riley, Fletcher, and Frankie Fraser, and many extended family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brian Fraser.

A Celebration of Life will be 10:00AM to 12:00PM on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI, with a brief prayer service at 11:30AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or an animal shelter of your choosing.  Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
