Rose Ella Jacobsen; 89 of County Road O Elkhorn, WI died Thursday September 22, 2016 at home.  Rose was born June 30, 1927 in Brown County, IL, the daughter of Russell and Stella Dunbar.  She graduated from High School in 1945.  Rose was united in marriage to Roger Jacobsen on August 12, 1946 at Mary Wood Lutheran Church in Maywood, IL.  Roger preceded in death on January 15, 2002.  Rose was a member of Sugar Creek Lutheran Church.  She was very active in the quilt group and assisting wherever she could.  Rose enjoyed cooking for her friends, family and farm hands.  She also volunteered at Lakeland Health Care Center for over 30 years.  Rose is survived by her son, Kenneth Jacobsen of Elkhorn, WI.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.  Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday September 26, 2016 at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be at the church 1 hour prior to service.  Arrangements by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory Elkhorn, WI.
