Roy J. Mauel, 68 of Elkhorn, WI, passed peacefully the morning on April 8, 2025, at Delavan Health Services.  Roy was born on January 21, 1957, to the late Howard and Margaret (Moldenhauer) Mauel at Fort Atkinson Hospital. On May 29, 1979, Roy married the love of his life Shirley Ann (Fields) Mauel. Roy worked at many places in his life, including AK Rubber (Viant), Trek, Moxness, and Morton Salt. His hobby was fixing lawnmowers, snowblowers and any small engine he would come into contact with.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Shirley Ann, three bonus granddaughters, Kerry Knull, Kyley Knull, Molly Knull, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, Kathy Mauel, brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Debbie Fields, best friends, Mark and Darcy Kitzman, and Randy Moering.  Mark was like a brother to Roy. He is further survived by extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Gene Mauel, Diane Deegan, and Janice Riley.

A Graveside Service will be 11:00AM on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Elkhorn, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mauel Family. Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
