Ruth L. Meyer, 81 of Elkhorn, WI, died Friday, December 20, 2019 at Golden Years of Lake Geneva.  She was born July 16, 1938 in Watertown, SD, the daughter to the late Roland and Frieda (Schwandt) Landdeck. On December 27, 1958, she was united in marriage to Jerome "Toby" Meyer at St. Rose Catholic Church of Milwaukee, WI.  Ruth worked as a Benefits Coordinator for Badger Meter.  She was an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan, WI, where she volunteered with the Ladies Aid. Ruth enjoyed crafting and crocheting.  She would donate to local charities and hospitals her hats and mittens.  Ruth was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed by her five children: Mark (Patricia) Meyer of Lisbon, WI, David Meyer of Elkhorn, WI, Bethany Meyer of Tarpon Springs, FL,  Mike Meyer of Lisbon, WI and Jerry Meyer of Elkhorn, WI, five grandchildren: Timothy (Lori), Peter, Daniel (Haleigh), Tyler and Ciara Meyer, two great-grandchildren: Nathaniel and Alexandra, her two brothers, John (Melissa) Landdeck and David Landdeck and by a host of other relatives and friends.  Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Toby and her parents.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday December 27, 2019 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva St. Delavan, WI, with Pastor Robert P. Rickman officiating.  Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Inurnment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ruth's name may be directed to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or Parent Connections, C/O EASD, 3 N Jackson St. Elkhorn, WI 53121.
