Ruth Ellen Von Seth age 90 of Bloomfield, WI died peacefully on February 9, 2024 at Arbor Village in Lake Geneva, WI.  Ruth was born in Burlington, WI on September 25, 1933.  She is the daughter of the late Irvin and Viola (Huff) Stohr. She graduated from Lake Geneva High School in 1950.   On November 17, 1956 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pell Lake, WI she was united in marriage to Jacob Von Seth who preceded her in death on August 6, 2019.

Ruth loved her children and was especially proud of her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.  For the holidays, she enjoyed making handcrafted gifts for the family.  Ruth also enjoyed gardening, baking and spending time with friends and family.

Ruth is survived by her children Lynn (Mark) Johnson and Gary (Joanne) Von Seth.  She is further survived by her grandchildren; Jacob (MJ) Von Seth, Jason Von Seth, Jennifer (Drew) Smith, Matthew (Jennifer) Johnson, Michael (Kasey) Johnson, Jessica (Beltran) Alvarez, Emily (Ryan) Klein, Natalie (Daniel) Warmuth, Timothy Von Seth and Anna Jo Von Seth.  Great Grandmother of 13 (soon to be 14).  Preceded in death by her son Ronald Von Seth, sisters Joyce (Eugene) O'Shea and Janet (Leslie) Eckert.

The Von Seth family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Arbor Village in Lake Geneva, WI for all the care, love and support they have shown to both Ruth and her entire family.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. John's Catholic Church 700 N Lake Avenue, Twin Lakes, WI. A private burial will follow at Bloomfield Cemetery.   Visitation will be held from 9:30 until the time of service at the church.  The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home of Genoa City, WI is honored to serve the Von Seth family.
