Ruth M Neuhaus age 82 of Sheboygan, WI and formerly of Genoa City, WI died July 29, 2024.  She was born in Milwaukee, WI on March 11, 1942.  The daughter of the late John and Esther (Spiegelhoff) Wessolowski.   On October 18, 1976, in Elkhorn, WI she was united in marriage to Robert Neuhaus who preceded her in death on January 31, 2023. She worked 8 years at the switchboard at The Playboy Club in Lake Geneva, WI.  She loved working with the children for 19 years as a secretary at Brookwood Elementary School in Genoa City, WI.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richmond, IL where she taught Sunday school for nine years. Ruth served on the Genoa City Village board for 9 years where she chaired the safety committee. She volunteered with the Cub Scouts for many years while her boys were involved. Ruth enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafting. Ruth had a kind heart and was a friend to many.

Survived by her sons Michael (Barb) Neuhaus and James (Lisa) Neuhaus.  Grandmother to Austin Neuhaus, "the apple of her eye".   Further survived by her Brother James Wessolowski and Sister in Laws Margaret Smith and Carol Windau.   She was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Schaeffer and Brother John (Jack) Wessolowski.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 2, 2024, at 12:00PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 113 Freeman St.  Genoa City, WI.  Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of services.    Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Richmond, IL.   The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home of Genoa City, WI is honored to serve the Neuhaus family.
