Sabina Rose Cymbal, age 68, of Twin Lakes, WI, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL, with her loving sister by her side. Daughter of the late Adam and Rozalia (Zablocki) Miszkiewicz, Sabina was born in Poland on November 18, 1954. In 1964, she and her family immigrated to the United States and settled in Chicago, IL.

Sabina graduated from Holy Family Academy High School.  On May 20, 1990, she earned an associate's degree from William Rainey Harper College, and then on December 7, 1996, earned a bachelor's degree from National Lewis University.

Sabina married Marty Cymbal in 1978 at St. Albert's Catholic Church in Chicago, and they divorced a few years later. She had an excellent job that she loved with Abbott Laboratories, which required her to travel all over the country. Sabina loved traveling in her free time, too, especially to tropical locations. She fell in love with Jamaica and reggae music, and was a big Bob Marley fan.  She recently went on a trip to Italy, which was a lifelong dream of hers.

Sabina was a kind and generous woman with a heart of gold and she delighted in helping others. She was very close with her niece, nephew, and great-nephews, whom she thought of like her own children and grandchildren.

Sabina is survived by her sister, Mary Breit; niece, Kelly Heckel; nephew, Gregg Manijak; great-nephews, Dalton (Kennedy) Heckel and Wyatt (Bri) Heckel; her dear cousins, Irene (Frank) Drew and Jo (John) Stapka; and close friends, Judy, Eva, Sharon, and Jeanine.

In death, she is reunited with her parents; brother, Zbyszek; sister, Irene; and brother-in-law, James Breit.

A celebration of life is being planned for the future.
