Samantha Jean Russell age 16 of Burlington, WI (Slades Corners) died Wednesday December 31, 2014 at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington of injuries from an automobile accident in Wheatland Township.
Samantha was born on May 15, 1998 in Ft. Carson, Colorado, the daughter of Owen W. and Heather Grenus. She has lived in Wheatland most of her lifetime and was a Junior at Burlington High School.
Samantha worked as a cashier at Walmart in Lake Geneva. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Slades Corners. She was a social butterfly.
Samantha is survived by: Her mother and stepfather-Ed "Lumpy" and Heather Applebee of Slades Corners, WI; father-Owen Russell of Slades Corners, WI; 3 sisters-Makenzie, Evelyn and GeorgeAnna all at home; Grandparents-George and Diane Grenus of Slades Corners, WI, Wally and Janet Todd of McKee, KY and Glenn and Alice Applebee of Burlington, WI; many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Sunday January 4, 2015 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Slades Corners with Pastor Jeff Halldorson and Pastor Kirk Lahmann officiating.
