Sandra K. Maynard, 63, of Twin Lakes, WI., passed away on Friday August 14th, 2026, at Aurora Burlington hospital, surrounded by her family, and love. Sandra was born in Waukegan, IL., on January 10th, 1963 to her parents Allen, and Mary (Gerou) Kranz. Sandra was united in marriage to the late David Maynard in 1999.

Sandra more than anything loved her family. What came a close second were animals, especially her animals, her dachshunds Molly and Willy, and her horse Tinkerbelle. Sandra always found peace in her yard, and made sure she used her green thumb attending her garden.

Sandra is survived by her mom Cathy (William) Brooks, her sons; Marshall Spears, and Steven (Tina Straub) Spears. Her siblings; Allen (Iris) Kranz, Tim (Nancy) Kranz, Mark (Tiffany) Kranz, Yvonne (Ken) Sage, Myra (Jeff) Virjinski, Muriel (Craig) Heher, and Robert (Tara) Kranz. Sandra is further survived by her grandchildren; Brooke and Keagan.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband David Maynard, and her father Allen Kranz.

A celebration of life will take place on September 19th, 2026, from Noon until 5:00 P.M., at Caboose Park, 37908 N. Fairfield Rd., Lake Villa, IL., 60046. We at Haase-Lockwood & Associates are honored to have served the Maynard family.
