Shirley J Silk age 79 of Wheatland, WI died April 5, 2024.  She was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 3, 1944.  The daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Pelkowski) Demeny.   On November 26, 1994, she was united in marriage to Fredrick F. Silk.  She worked for 38 years for Chrysler.

Shirley was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in Twin Lakes, WI where she sang in the choir, and volunteered countless hours doing funeral luncheons.   Shirley was instrumental in starting the St. Vincent de Paul chapter at St. Johns church.

Survived by her husband Fredrick.  Mother to Brian Michael Silk and Brenda Jean Luciano.  Grandmother to Julian, Kieran, Jonathan, Jasmine, Liam, Matthew, Brianna, and Ciera. Special friend to Carol Dobra, Shirley Szylarski, Sharon Green, niece Susan Lueck, and the Nunez family. Further survived by numerous friends and family members.   She was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Kleczka.
