Shirley Joan Hartz, 79, of Elkhorn, WI died Monday August 10, 2015 at her residence.  She was born September 15, 1935 in Burlington, WI the daughter of the late Percy and Joan (Kaufman) Greene.  She graduated from East Troy High School with the Class of 1953.  She was united in marriage to William J. Hartz on June 12, 1954 in Elkhorn, WI.  Bill died February 22, 2013.  Shirley was a 4-H leader for knitting and sewing with Lakeland 4-H club for over 15 years and FFA Alumni.  She knits hats for all the newborns at Lakeland Medical Center for many years.  She enjoyed working in her flower garden.  She is survived by her five children; Nancy (Rodney) Lee of Darien, WI, Richard (Joyce) Hartz of Chippewa Falls, WI, Barbara "Bobbie" Hartz-York of Elkhorn, WI, Mary (Jim) Vorpagel of Delavan, WI and Donna (David) Bjorge of Elkhorn, WI, Twenty four grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, special friends; Dwayne, Ann and Craig.  Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, daughter Diane, granddaughter Stephanie Hartz and a great-grandson Rowan Lee and her brother Donald Greene.  Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday August 14, 2015 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI with Angie Alesci Hospice Chaplain officiating.  Burial will be at Hazel Ridge Cemetery Elkhorn, WI.  Visitation will be Thursday 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.  On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com
