Shirley D. Lowe, age 70, of Twin Lakes, WI, died Monday morning, November 28, 2016 at the Rosewood Care Center of St. Charles in St. Charles, IL.

The former Shirley Dee Adams was born on May 30, 1946 in Madison, IN, the daughter of the late Elmer and Josephine Burchfield Adams.  On July 28, 1971 in Youngstown, Ohio, Shirley was united in marriage to Raymond C. Lowe.  He preceded her in death on April 6, 2004.  Shirley lived in Chicago, IL, before moving to Twin Lakes in 2000.

Shirley formerly worked as a tool keeper for the Hanna Cylinder Co. in Chicago and Libertyville, IL.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good pinnacle or poker game.  She loved her two dogs, Snoopy and Ming.

Shirley is survived by: 2 daughters, Donna (Robert) Pinedo of Bartlett, IL and Marion Leeke of Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph and Angela; 6 great grandchildren, Azalea, Abigail, Andrew, Braydon, Christopher and Jacob; 1 sister, Carolyn Zigulis of Clinton, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her brother in law, Robert Zigulis.

The Lowe Family will receive friends from 12:00PM until the time of services at 1:00PM on Saturday Dec. 3, 2016 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Twin Lakes.  Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery.  Memorial remembrances in Shirley's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
