Shirley M. Stopple, 77: of Elkhorn, WI, died Friday, November 15, 2019 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center. She was born September 15, 1942 in Elkhorn, WI, the daughter to the late Fred I. and Florence (Carlson) Stopple. Shirley graduated from Elkhorn Area High School with the Class of 1961.  She was employed for over 37 years at Lakeland Health Care Center working in the kitchen, retiring in 2007.  In Shirley's younger years she enjoyed bowling, and she took the trip of a lifetime to Europe.

Shirley is survived by her brother, Fred (Eunice) Stopple Jr. of Elkhorn, WI, sister-in-law, Janet (Jake) Hetzel of Elkhorn, WI, her nieces and nephews; Kenneth (Peggy) Stopple, Donald Stopple, Becki (Greg) Johnson, Jennifer (Craig) Stevens, Marlys (Dennis) Truckendbrod and Sarah Stopple, her great-niece and great-nephews; Rachael (Kevin) Coenen, Joe and Jonathan Stopple, Christopher, Amy and Nathan Johnson, Neil and Dana Truckendbrod, and her great-great nephew, Jack Coenen. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kenneth Stopple.

Memorial Service will be 12:00PM Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Tom DeGroot officiating.  Visitation will be 11:00AM until time of service.  Online guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
