Sophie Adela Bagninski age 93 of McHenry, IL. Died April 15, 2016 at Alden Terrace of McHenry. She was born in Poland on February 1, 1923. The daughter of the late Michael and Antonina (Kowalski) Marciniec. She was united in marriage to Joseph Bagninski who preceded her in death. During her life in Poland she was a Holocaust Survivor. She enjoyed Crocheting, Knitting, Cooking, Gardening, Canning and Dancing. Sophie loved animals and memorials may be made in Sophie's name to an animal society of your choice. She is survived by her daughter Helen Gaul of Lily Lake, WI. Further survived by her Granddaughter Wendy Gaul and Sister Franciszka Surdyka. She was preceded in death by her Son-in-law Jim Gaul and Brothers Adam Marciniec and Jozef Marciniec. Private family services will be held.
