Elkhorn: Stanley K. Jensen, 60, of Elkhorn, WI died Saturday November 1, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 8, 1954 in Merrill WI the son of Clifford and Genevieve (Lange) Jensen. He was united in marriage to Kerry J. (Sparling) on September 16, 1978 in Rhinelander, WI. Stan worked as a metal fabricator for Northland Stainless of Tomahawk, WI and Stuart Tank Sales of Elkhorn, WI. He was a member of the Elkhorn Area Fire Dept. from 1988 until 2008 where he served as Captain and Safety Officer. He was also an EMT with the Elkhorn Rescue Squad from 1983 until 1993. He was involved in Boy Scouts and was a Cub Master with the Cub Scouts. He also enjoyed and was involved with the Valley Corp Civil War reenactors. Stan was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, family member and friend. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kerry, three children; Karl (Emily) Jensen of Crystal Lake, IL, Nichole (Matthew) Raine of Eau Claire, WI and Keith Jensen of Elkhorn, WI, two grandchildren; Jacob Robert and Eleanor Elisabeth Jensen, his mother Genevieve Jensen of Delavan, WI, two sisters; Pamela (James Howard) Lukesh of West Allis, WI and Carla (Larry) Ritchey of East Troy, WI and one brother Perry (Debra) Jensen of Elkhorn, WI, five nephews; Richard Abbott, Karl Otteson, Chad and Kory Sparling and Clifford Jensen, one niece; Stacy Abbott and by a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday November 6, 2014 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Robert Pieffer officiating. Burial will be at Hazel Ridge Cemetery Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday from 10:30 AM until time of service.
