Steve J. Gawlinski Jr., age 77, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He was born on August 17, 1947, in Hammond, Indiana, the son of the late Steve (Cleorita) J. Gawlinski Sr. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Mary (Devros) Gawlinski on April 8, 1966. Together they built a life and beautiful family. Steve served his country and was an Army Veteran or also known as the original G.I. Joe, to his grandson Joseph. The things he loved most in life involved wrestling, soccer, his kitty cats and dogs, and above all, his family and his wife, Mary. He will be deeply missed.

Steve is survived by his wife; Mary Gawlinski, children; Steve III, Robert, Chester, Lisa and Mary Dawn Gawlinski, sisters; Shelly and Kathy Gawlinski, brother; Cliff Gawlinski and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Steve is preceded in death by his daughter; Heather Gawlinski and parents; Steve and Cleorita.
