Steven Edward Kane, age 65, of Burlington, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Hospice Alliance House in Pleasant Prairie. Son of the late Jack and Elizabeth (Tess) Kane, Steven was born on November 23, 1956 in Burlington. He graduated from Central High School in 1974. On March 25, 1977, Steven married his high school sweetheart, Deborah Grossmann. Steven owned and operated a commercial cleaning business, DoneRite Janitorial Service Inc., for 40 years with his wife, Deborah. Steven loved the outdoors, and could often be found hunting deer and pheasants, fishing, walking, and spending time with his many hunting dogs over the years. Steven was a man of great faith and he loved the Lord. Happiest when he was with his family, many of Steven's fondest memories were made on family camping trips. He was a hard-working man with a great sense of humor, and he loved to spoil his granddaughter.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Deborah Kane; daughters, Jackie (Rick O'Connor) Kane-O'Connor and Cassie (Randel Scheck) Kane Scheck; granddaughter, Nikell (Joseph) O'Connor; great-grandson, Ryker O'Connor; siblings, Elaine (Pete) Thompson, Joan Kane, Cindy (Paul) Kukla, and Richard (Sherry) Kane; sister-in-law, Joyce Kane; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Elizabeth Kane; and his brother, George Kane.
