Susan "Sue" (Rice) Berg, age 56, of East Troy, WI, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. She was born on August 4, 1968, in Burlington, WI, the daughter of the late James and Felice (Kwiatkowski) Rice. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Joseph "Joe" Berg on May 17, 2014, in East Troy, WI. During her life, Sue enjoyed gardening, taking care of others and spending time with her family. She was the definition of selfless service. She loved taking care of others and taking care of her loving husband Joe. Sue was known for her infectious giggle and smile, being dedicated, determined and strong-willed with anything she set her mind to. She was very empathetic and compassionate towards others, whether they were people or four-legged creatures. She enjoyed taking both under her wing and helping them with whatever they needed help with. Her heart was pure gold and full of so much love. Her happiness was other people's happiness, especially when it came to her loving family. She will be deeply missed and always loved dearly.

Sue is survived by her loving husband; Joe Berg, children; Sandra Berg, James Berg and Lea Koch (Berg), sisters and brothers; Patrick (Diane) Rice, Linda (Dan) Moritz, Judith (Hurvey) Haskins, Sharon (Mike) Lindner, Mary (Don) Gehr and Michael (Monica) Rice, grandchildren; Anthony and Aiden Berg and Joseph (Joey) and Natalie Koch, fur babies; Al and Lobo and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents; James and Felice Rice, beloved uncle Eugene "Gene" Gavers, nephews; Seth Lindner and Simon Haskins, brothers in law; Michael and Robert "Bob" Berg and fur baby of 15 years, Evelyn.

A gathering will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the East Troy House, 2093 Division St., East Troy, WI, 53120 to honor and share some memories of Sue.
