Susie Jones passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025 with her daughter by her side. She was 91 years old. She was the daughter of the late George and Elsie (Valentine) Morris. She graduated from Genoa City high school and married Richard. (Dick) Jones on October 4, 1952 in Salem, Wis. She worked at Antioch Bank until the birth of their daughter when she became a stay at home mom. She and Dick farmed in Kenosha County until 1981 when they sold the farm and retired. They then started splitting their time between Wisconsin in the summers and Mesa, Ariz. in the winters. In 2015 they made Arizona their full-time residence. They enjoyed attending Cubs spring training games together and were season ticket holders until 2024. Susie enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking for the large extended family gatherings . She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Jones of Mesa, Ariz.; her brother, Steve (Jean) Morris of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters in law, Judy (Frank) Sala of Mesa, Ariz., Joyce (Donald) Baier of Gilbert, Ariz., and Colleen (Frank) Bear of Twin Lakes, Wis. along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 71 years, Dick; her sister, Shirley (Bill) Quake; her brother, George; her sister, Marlene (Leon) Steinke, and her brother, Robert. Services will be private and handled by Haase-Lockwood of Twin Lakes, WI. Haase-Lockwood & Associates are proud to serve the Jones family.
