Sylvia Ann McDonald, 87, of Elkhorn, WI died Monday October 24, 2022 at The Bay of Burlington Health Care Center Burlington, WI. Sylvia was born October 1, 1935 in Racine, WI. She was the daughter of the late Sidney and Anna M. (Harms) Welch. She graduated from Elkhorn High School with the Class of 1954. For over 40 years, she was united in marriage to Maurice McDonald. Sylvia worked as a waitress for over 53 years and was co-owner of D & E Auto of Elkhorn, WI. Sylvia was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Elkhorn, WI. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was a member of the Bunco Club in Lake Como, WI. Sylvia is survived by her three children: Twila Voss, Mark McDonald and Dawn (Scott) Rhyan, all of Elkhorn, WI. By her twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her sister Carol (Carl) Matthews of Elkhorn, WI, by many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Sylvia was preceded in death by her son-in-law David Voss, daughter-in-law Julie McDonald, grandson-in-law Bret Miller, and by her brother Robert Welch. Visitation will be 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM Friday November 4, 2022 followed by a memorial service officiated by Pastor Tom DeGroot at St. John's Lutheran Church, 104 S. Broad Street Elkhorn, WI.
