Tadeusz (Ted) Jankowski, age 80, of Pell Lake, Wisconsin, died Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Tadeusz Rafal Jankowski was born on May 20, 1941, in Kalinowka Koscielna, Poland, the son of the late Jozef and Marianna (Ostrowska) Jankowski.  He was the oldest of two children. Ted immigrated to the United States with his parents and younger brother in 1964 at the age of 23. He settled in Chicago, Illinois before moving to Pell Lake in 1979 with his young family.  He proudly became a United States Citizen in March 1999.

He worked as a maintenance technician at Baxter Travenol from 1979 until 1997, when he retired. Ted loved fishing, as well as tinkering and inventing. He holds a U.S. patent for a fishing lure he created in the 1970's.

Ted is survived by his children, Tadeusz "Ted" (Reta) Jankowski and Grazyna "Grace" Soma (Jack Davidson); three grandsons, Gabriel, Elijah, and Jasper; brother, Jurek "George" (Irene) Jankowski; and his long time friend, Wladyslawa Rzeznik. Ted was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Theresa Jankowski.
